New Layout

Yeah, I know I haven't updated in quite a bit. I've just been really busy with school and color guard and that whole shebang.
In truth, I haven't even started writing ch. 14 of A Study of the Mind. ::dodges any weapons or instruments of pain:: I know. Bad Alexandria. Trust me, I feel ashamed of myself. It's just that I've been working on my marching season show like crazy -we're already up to the closer, Black Magic Woman (total coincidence, I swear), and we JUST got our completely kick-ass uniforms yesterday- and I've had disgustingly huge amounts of homework lately in all of my classes. It's so bad that I'm starting to forget certain assingments. And the fact that my teachers don't let you know when they're going to collect them is a real pain in the ass too. But I digress.
I was inspired after completing the new layout for my website, Luno, on Thursday and I was getting sick of seeing last year's guard as my LiveJournal layout. It was cute for a while, but man, did I start to loathe it. I think I'm regretting ever making it into a layout in the first place. Anyways, I am completely in love with this new one, featuring the lovely Hilary Rhoda, so it'll be up for a good while.
I have a crap load of plot bunnies too. Like they won't leave me alone. It's flippin' ANNOYING! And almost all of them are friggen songfics. Don't get me wrong; I love writing songfics. In fact, most of my fanfics ARE songfics, but there comes a point where you don't want to do them anymore. Like I sure as hell don't want to be known as the author who always does songfics because that would annoy me after a while.
Anywho, I must be off; I have to buy a birthday present for one of the guard girls (her b-day party is tomorrow) and then if you're really, and I mean, REALLY lucky, I'll start writing ch. 14.
