[EDIT] Dude. Seriously, I am on the verge of killing someone right now. It seems that lately, I've been getting a review per chapter complaining about how much they dislike the fact that Draco and Ginny have not gotten together yet.
Here's the latest one:
Review on Portkey.org: I'm annoyed that after 41,000+ words basically nothing of interest has taken place between Ginny and Draco.
My Response: I'm sorry you feel that way. If the fact that Draco and Ginny have had nothing interesting happen between them annoy you so much, then don't bother reading my story. Plain and simple.
How many times must I stress the fact that it is a waste of your time and effort to bitch and moan at me about shit like this? It really pisses me off that people review with comments such as these, but is it my fault that they don't like my story? No, not really. It's not like I'm forcing you to read my story. You can choose to NOT read A Study of the Mind, in case you haven't figured that out already. If you would rather read a D/G fic that has more interaction between the two characters, head on over to DracoandGinny.com; they have loads to choose from. Just don't gripe about how D and G haven't gotten together yet. Ok? Like I said in a previous post, my story's supposed to make you think. As much as we don't want to do it when we read fic, that's what mine involves. If you don't like it, fine. Doesn't bother me; I have plenty of others who do like it. And they'll inform me as such, as well. [/EDIT]
I love making a transition from doing homework to finishing a chapter. ^_^
Well, there were a lot kinks to work out with this one. I had to get rid of a bunch of unnecessary crap and add in some fillers to end the chapter with. Again, it's not super long, but most of the chapters at this point will be rather short, with the last chapter being the real doosy (you'll see why once we reach that point :D)
Anywho, I expect that my writing might improve over the course of this school year, seeing as I have AP English and I no longer use the 5-Paragraph Essay format (you have no idea how happy this has made me...). If it doesn't, then it was a waste of my time and effort seeing as the only book that I'll enjoy reading in that class is Joseph Heller's Catch-22 (if you have not read that book, go out to your local Barnes and Noble/Border's/Books-a-Million, etc. and purchase a copy! You will laugh for hours on end...you might cry as well...).
( Oh, Azkaban...You creepy little island you )
