Let's get the rage out of the way first:
My mom sent me pictures of my 3 year-old cousin, Victoria, after her Disney princess makeover today. I got the pictures on my cell phone while I was in the car with my aunt and my Nana, driving down Rodeo Drive (more about that in a bit). My Nana was in the backseat and was acting practically non-existent, so I completely forgot that she was there. I showed my aunt the pictures and I neglected to show my Nana the pictures. My mistake, of course, but she doesn't even say anything about it. Doesn't ask me if she can see them until my aunt asks her what's wrong and my Nana just goes off on my aunt and I about how we ignore her and are completely disrespectful of her. HOW THE HELL ARE WE SUPPOSED TO KNOW THIS IF YOU NEVER SAY ANYTHING TO US? She doesn't contribute to any conversation and, really, the only time she speaks to anyone is when she has to ask them to fetch something for her. Anytime she's in a room, or is around others, she mopes and just sits there. I apologized for what I did and tried to show her the pictures, but she got all stubborn and refused to look at them. She just doesn't do anything anymore. It's kind of sad, too, because she used to be such an active and vibrant person, but now; if she's not doing anything all day, she won't shower and she won't change out of her pajamas.
ERGH. I dunno. I recognize that I was in the wrong, but still. It just bothers me, in addition to other things that my grandmother has a tendency of doing.
Now. Fashion fangirling:
I DROVE DOWN FUCKING RODEO DRIVE TODAY. Not even gonna lie, I jizzed in my effing pants. I couldn't walk around because my Nana was with me and she didn't want to get out of the car and walk, so my aunt promised me that we would drive down there again and walk around. But either way, just seeing all of those stores made me squeal on the inside. I mean, I would've done it in real life, but yeah. Did want to act even more like a dork in front of the fam.
And excitement! Because I'm going to see Star Trek again tonight! But in IMAX! I cannot wait to seemy future husband Zachary Quinto/Spock on the IMAX screen. It shall be epic. :D
