Ideally, my username for this account would've been perfect for my LiveJournal, xalexandriam, but I obviously did not think of this until after the fact. Anyways, reasoning behind getting a Dreamwidth account:

» I'm interested in seeing if the amount of fandoms that claim they're making a mass exodus from LiveJournal to here actually follow through with that.
» I'm also interested in seeing if Dreamwidth's promise of more artistic freedom actually happens.
» I like the idea of having another place to cross-post/back up my LiveJournal entries.
» The invite code I got was free because I signed in through OpenID first. I can never say no to that, especially because so many people are clamoring to create one of these bad boys.

So, as more posts come along on either of my journals, I'll be updating. :D

Also, just finished watching the episode of SNL that Zacqueesha (Zac Efron) hosted. Not bad, honestly. Jason Sudekis opening as Joe Biden always brings the lulz and I liked the skit with Andy, Fred, and Zac -- Fred Armisen dressed as a woman, hitting Zac Efron, shouting, "I AM YOUR MOTHER!" will never get old. Also, fantastic performances by the Yeah Yeah Yeahs. I do love me some Karen O.

I'm finally back from Jersey, and I wish I had a new chapter of Theories, or The Prince, or Every Season to present to you all, but I was beta-reading instead. :)

So I commented on the D/G Fic Exchange as to what prompt I wanted maybe, like, 15-20 minutes after they posted the prompts. My friend, Rio, helped me narrow down my choices. I really hope that I get the one that I chose for my top choice. *crosses fingers* It created the strongest creative response from both myself and Rio (she's majoring in Fine Arts and English. I'm majoring in Magazine Journalism). I'm writing the story, but she's helping me in that I'm just going to bounce ideas off of her and everything.

Speaking of my friend, Rio, before I requested my top 5 prompts, she asked me if I would write her a fic for her birthday, December 20th. I, of course, said yes, and what spawned is rather epic. The title is "Winning Them Over", and yeah; that's about all I'm saying. :D I'll let you know when I finish the first chapter.
