Also, just finished watching the episode of SNL that Zacqueesha (Zac Efron) hosted. Not bad, honestly. Jason Sudekis opening as Joe Biden always brings the lulz and I liked the skit with Andy, Fred, and Zac -- Fred Armisen dressed as a woman, hitting Zac Efron, shouting, "I AM YOUR MOTHER!" will never get old. Also, fantastic performances by the Yeah Yeah Yeahs. I do love me some Karen O.

Skimming through the entries on

ohnotheydidnt just 'cause, I found this: Efron in May 2009 GQ

While many people who commented thought differently, I kinda liked the cover shot of him because of how much of a dork he looks with his cheesetastic smile. And, of course, after that, every other shot of him attempts to make him look like a oversexed, rugged bad ass. Which, frankly, kind of disconcerts me for a magazine called Gentleman's Quarterly. I dunno. Maybe this is how they get their female readers...?

Anywho, I also thought it was pretty funny how almost every word out of his mouth is "fuck". It just makes me want to pinch his cheek and coo, "Aww...That's so adorable how hard you're trying to break away from your squeaky clean Disney-made image!" While I understand that it's quite possible that his potty mouth is just as bad as mine, for someone like him, it borders on being insincere and sounding forced. Word of advice, Zacqueesha? Drop the f-bomb every once in a while, but not almost every other word, 'cause then you just sound silly and forced. Sound good? Awesome. :D

So I'm reading this interview with Dan Radcliffe and in the interview is this video featuring a musical number that Dan did for Gypsy of the Year 2008. It is SO EPIC. My personal favorite is the kick line he does at the end only because of the height difference between him and the rest of the line. (Does that make me a bad person? XD)

Also, got the new Franz Ferdinand album today with Rio. I must say that the three years was worth the wait. It's so incredibly magnificent. The song Lucid Dreams is over 7 minutes long, but it's trippy at certain points, as though you're experiencing that sensation of knowing that you're dreaming.

So after reading the fantastic summaries of the Twilight books and the movie, I found this awesome R Pattz (Robert Pattinson) quote regarding his views on the sparkly vampire he plays in Twilight.

"When you read the book," says [Robert] Pattinson, looking appropriately pallid and interesting even without makeup, "it's like, 'Edward Cullen was so beautiful I creamed myself.' I mean, every line is like that. He's the most ridiculous person who's so amazing at everything. I think a lot of actors tried to play that aspect. I just couldn't do that. And the more I read the script, the more I hated this guy, so that's how I played him, as a manic-depressive who hates himself. Plus, he's a 108-year-old virgin so he's obviously got some issues there."

I loved him as Cedric from GoF, but, oh lordy, this just makes me love him even more. And after suffering through both the first book and the movie, I totally agree with him. If anything, the first line he utters just secures my love for him. XD

As much as I love Hilary Rhoda (I'm so happy she's back doing ads for brands other than Estee Lauder!), I really have been wanting to change my layout for the longest time.

I originally saw these particular pictures in Teen Vogue's supplement for this past month, Fashion Rocks, featuring Sasha Pivovarova (another one of my faves) and George Harrison's son, Dhani, who looks so much like his father it's scary. I found the photos online through

foto_decadent though. I really like the way it turned out because I was really meticulous with it. Normally I just throw something together and maybe I'll like it, but I dunno; I guess I wanted this one to look really good. Hopefully everyone can see not only the layout, but my entries, since I know that was the problem with my last layout. I got rid of the side navigation, so that might have been part of the problem.

Well, comment with what you think, and like I said in my previous post, I can make banners for people if they would like one. This one was super easy to install, so pretty much anyone can do it. I also find it rather funny that this is my fanfic journal, but I have yet to do a D/G layout. Someday...maybe. XD
