I'm tired, my brain is quickly becoming fried, and I still have three more finals. Yeah. Apparently, I enjoy this kind of torture.

Anyways, because this week is finals week, and on Friday I leave for Jersey with Rio, I'm probably not going to get a lot of writing done over the next two weeks or so. I'll have my laptop with me, of course, but again, I probably won't have a lot of time to write stuff.

So because I am feeling rather bad about that, I give you a snippet of the current chapters that I'm working on for both Theories on How Danger Finds Us and The Prince. I would give you all a snippet of Every Season, but well, I haven't started writing the fourth chapter for that fic yet. XD

A new to-do list for me to plow through:

» Finish and submit my D/G exchange fic to the mods. Just sent it to them! :D
» Finish chapter 7 of Theories on How Danger Finds Us.
» Finish chapter 6 (I believe it is) of The Prince.
» Start chapter 4, Autumn, of Every Season.
» Finish beta reading for adelagia. I'm half-way done. :)

School-related:

» Study for my Finite Math final.
» Study for my Basic Economics final.
» Brush up on the study questions for my AOK final.
» Study for my Intro to Psych final.

Other:

» Figure out whether or not I'm going to be able to go to New Jersey for winter break with Rio.
» Determine what I want to ask for for Christmas. XD

It's really not as bad as the last to-do list I had written. I swear. :P

Also, spending these past few days with my family has been exhausting. -_-

I seem to have this penchant for giving myself more work than is absolutely necessary.

Case in point: I should be working on my fic for the exchange (which has now become a three-parter. I've been thanking the wonderful mods for the last few days for their benevolence...), but instead I'm working on this idea that I had for a fic which, long story short, was an idea I had come up with for a friend, but I like it so much that I'm making it into a fic. (Don't worry; they're not using the idea. Otherwise, I wouldn't even consider writing it.) And I'm writing it right now. I came up with the premise at, like, 2:00 in the morning, completely delirious and tired as hell.

So, counting this new fic that I'm working on, I have 5 WIPs:

» Theories on How Danger Finds Us
» Every Season
» The Prince
» Fic for the exchange (I was so about to write the name of the fic! XD That would have been bad...)
» New unnamed fic that I'm typing up right now. I need to ask Rio about possible names...

They're not in order of priority, or any particular order for that matter, since the exchange fic takes the top priority spot. After that, it's probably Theories, since I haven't worked on that story in god knows how long. :/ I haven't even started the fourth chapter of Every Season. I don't even want to think about my other posted WIPs until my exchange fic gets done and shipped out to the mods. I just re-read all of my WIPs to at least try to get back into the writing mood... Nope. Nada. Zilch. Nyet. I got nothin'. I need to get my exchange fic done before I feel up to tackling any other story.

So I commented on the D/G Fic Exchange as to what prompt I wanted maybe, like, 15-20 minutes after they posted the prompts. My friend, Rio, helped me narrow down my choices. I really hope that I get the one that I chose for my top choice. *crosses fingers* It created the strongest creative response from both myself and Rio (she's majoring in Fine Arts and English. I'm majoring in Magazine Journalism). I'm writing the story, but she's helping me in that I'm just going to bounce ideas off of her and everything.

Speaking of my friend, Rio, before I requested my top 5 prompts, she asked me if I would write her a fic for her birthday, December 20th. I, of course, said yes, and what spawned is rather epic. The title is "Winning Them Over", and yeah; that's about all I'm saying. :D I'll let you know when I finish the first chapter.
