Real Life vs. Fiction

So I'm sitting in the Tampa International Airport, at my gate, with Rio sitting right next to me, reading an article on Tina Fey from my copy of Vanity Fair. There's a venti, iced, non-fat caramel macchiato from Starbucks on my right, and my purse, pillow, and laptop carrier are at my feet. I glance out the window every so often, hoping to spy our plane (we're flying JetBlue). It has yet to arrive, and our flight is supposed to leave in about an hour. I'm worried, but not by much. Just as long as Rio and I get to New Jersey, I'm totally good. :D

We're both ridiculously excited, though, and I think our excitement will override any fears we may have about our plane not leaving on time. Oh, and when we checked it, my bag was overweight. XD I can't help it that I was packing for both Jersey and home! Luckily, Rio was with me and it was really no big deal since she just put some of my stuff in her bag. XD God. I felt like such a dork. Rio nearly yelled out in the airport, "GOD MIA! WHY DO YOU HAVE TO BE SUCH A FASHIONISTA!?" To which I think I huffed and felt a slight blush creeping up my cheeks.

Anyways, I'm going to stop now. It was a pain in the ass to get onto the airport's wireless connection, and I don't want my battery to die on me. I'll be sure to post every so often. If I can. I know I'll be writing over the break, as well as beta reading! :D So maybe there'll be some fics to post when I get back home. :)
