Theories Related Drabble

turkeyish in yesterday's post, I have just finished writing a "D/G snogging" drabble.
The drabble is set in the same universe as Theories on How Danger Finds Us, but it's supposed to occur after the events in the story. We all know that Draco and Ginny (eventually) get together, so that's not a real spoiler and I tried to make it spoiler-free for my story and I think it is. If I happen to re-read it and spot a spoiler, I shall notify you all immediately. :D
She’s briefly reminded of the first time she saw him at school: the obliviousness of his character in that moment belying the intensity of his gaze, the intensity of his interest in her.
“Because that’s what it started out as,” he admitted to her sometime later that year, “a passing interest.” She scoffs at the memory of his words. How could she be chalked up to a passing interest? And that’s what she told him in response to his confession. He merely chuckled at her temerity and pulled her close, situating her head on his chest, resting his chin in her hair.
She’s reminded of this every time she kisses him.
She finds it strange that her mind keeps pulling her back to those two instances, but she focuses back on the kiss and understands why.
He’s gentle, allowing her to be the aggressive one, contrary to any previous testimonials she’s heard. He displays his interest through the kiss – allowing his hands and lips to explore her, learning everything he can about her, fuelling his “interest”. She makes her move first, nine times out of ten, leaning in to lightly place her lips on his, barely having time to pull away before his hands grab either side of her face, guiding her back to him.
And it’s the same routine. He starts out with her face: cradling it, calloused thumbs rubbing her soft, freckled cheeks. His mouth moves slowly, setting an achingly slow pace that nearly fries her nerves with need. His tongue swirls around with hers before he lets go, licking and sucking on her bottom lip until it’s crimson and plump, alternating between the two motions. His mouth then moves to her nose, placing a single kiss on the tip as she scrunches it, causing him to grin. It then trails down her jaw line, placing gentle kisses along the way as his hands snake through her hair, fingers lightly brushing up against the nape of her neck, causing her to tense as she shivers. She brings her hands up to his face, trying to guide him herself, but he swats her hands away before resting his own on her hips, applying the slightest pressure to let her know who has control. He works his way down her neck, leaving open mouth kisses all the way down to her collar bone, blowing on her neck every so often, causing her to shiver even more.
He finally grants her request and attends to her mouth once more, his hands running along the small of her back, his fingertips pressing into the skin. She sighs and it’s all she can do to keep her cool, allowing herself to revel in the sensations.
He eventually pulls away, resting his forehead against hers.
“You could never be a passing interest,” is what he tells her each time, his voice rough and his breathing heavy.
And each time she smiles, happy to prove him wrong.
Also, because I couldn't help myself after last night's fangirling withturkeyish over her fantastical William Moseley and Skandar Keynes icon, I give you THIS. Can we please take a moment to appreciate how adorable/amazing those boys are walking it out?
